What's ahead for 2018....
Since we began our partnership with Boot Hill Jamboree, you, the campers have helped us reach many goals. We have competed on the world stage in Italy, winning a World Championship with the U16 team. We have purchased a small boat (for 10 paddlers) to help us compete on the International scene. Now, we are fundraising to help us build a new storage shed, purchase new jerseys for the juniors, and to help fund the team for another World Championship coming up in 2020 in France. This year, we are competing at Wallaceburg, London, Welland and Guelph.
Your donations of cans help us pay for race fees which can be as high as $1000 per race. The team would like to thank everyone for sorting your cans and garbage – keeping the concert and campground clean takes a lot of time and volunteers and every little bit helps! The 50/50 helps with uniforms, team equipment like life jackets and paddles, and our main project – the storage facility. We really appreciate your support! Thank you!
